Architecture Building
Bedford-Stuyvesant
Located in the heart of Williamsburg’s Broadway Triangle, this multifamily development was fashioned to effortlessly blend in with its neighboring buildings. The façade is composed of a variety of greige-colored bricks and is accented with dark gray brick. We designed a stepped brick header for the door and window openings to add detail.
Entering the lobby, one steps into an angled color-block design on the floor and ceiling that extend in opposing directions creating an imaginary, yet perceived, the central point at its crossing. A custom backlit sitting area to the side highlights a glistening natural stone veneer wall. Bringing it all together, the lobby and accompanying corridor are accentuated with brushed brass finishes.
The aesthetic vision for the apartment interiors was sophistication with a sense of timelessness. The kitchen cabinets are a warm wood finish complemented with matte white upper cabinets for some added airiness. The family bathroom was designed with a striped floor pattern reminiscent of the lobby’s angled feature. In the master bathroom, we elevated the traditional herringbone pattern with white accent tiles. Not least of all, in the powder room, we created a striking textured feature wall with a custom vessel sink counter.
